Our History

Fresh, Naturally Farmed Meat

Iron Station was forged in innovative traditions and environmentally practices. Growing up on a small farm, Chuck Delade the value of hard work early, and used these skills to run an electrical contracting business for over 30 years! However, the allure of a quiet pasture, high-quality meat, and a positive contribution to his community brought him back to agriculture at Iron Station Farms.

Currently, Iron Station is moving forward with farm operations in tranquil Tennessee, where the State motto is "Agriculture and Commerce"! Farmer Chuck and his crew has been busy raising natural cows, sheep, and chickens and paying close attention to the genetics, quality of health, and principles of animal husbandry to provide the ultimate dining experience. Farming is still a strong industry, and the modern farmer can thrive, even in a digital age where food arrives at the tap of a screen. As a steward of the land Chuck seeks to make a difference in the way people view nature and farming.

Farmers and ranchers are hardworking Americans with a common goal: Delivering the best quality foods and meats. Despite the hard work and long days, those at Iron Station know how fortunate they are to be able to grow their own meat and share it with the community. Food brings communities together, so healthy, ethical food is a must. You can find it at Iron Station!

We thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and the community. Iron Station Prime Quality Lamb is available at George's Wine Shop, the North Shore House LLC, and more in the near future.

“For in the End we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand, and we will understand only what we are taught."

Poultry

Poultry

The humble chicken, and her abundant eggs, has been a staple of American farming for centuries. This is just as true at Iron Station, where our chickens serve double-duty! Just like everything on a farm, our chickens are valuable and useful well before we eat them—they help to eat bugs and clean up pastures to promote natural rotation and grazing, and all this natural feed and exercise helps them to produce delicious, fresh brown eggs. Many of our customers say they’ll never go back to pale, flavorless grocery store eggs after trying our fresh variety!

Beef

Beef

Beef is on its way! If you love the delicious, tender lamb from Iron Station, you’ll love our beef! We are currently sourcing Brangus Beef cows, which are a cross of Angus and Brahman cows, and destined to become tender, well-marbled beef once they mature. Our grass-finished cows will enjoy fresh, rotating pastures with carefully selected grasses and grazing crops, and will never be treated with hormones or unnecessary antibiotics! Naturally-raised beef is healthier, with lower levels of cholesterol and plenty of healthy Omega-3 fats!

Our lamb is processed and portioned in many different ways, including single packs, 18-pound half lamb or 36-pound whole lamb, bulk pricing, and even specialty cuts like lamb sausage, lamb bacon, and marinated loin strips!
